The city I live nearby has made plans to build a bike path. It would have required to take land from property owners. They've backed off, but I can't trust them. I have to watch for what they'll think of next. There are too many paid bureaucrats to watch.

And in a sense he's right: This is an age of small, itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny government, in which nothing is too inconsequential and trivial not to command the attention of the federal enforcers - until, cumulatively, all the itsy-bitsy teeny-weeny government adds up to the biggest government ever seen. linky
