I flew into Lviv when they spelled it Lvov. Some airport official offered me the “services” of his secretary. The construction of the buildings was pure Soviet.....shoddy and depressing.

That city has had so many names it is dizzying... Lviv, Lvov, Lwow, Lemberg.
