Some claim this isn’t “gay.” If it isn’t it’s sure trying damned hard to act that way!

I actually have no problem with this. They are not doing anything that should bother anybody else, and they’re not suing to try and force anyone to hold a point of view that violates anyone’s moral sensibilities. These guys are the least of any culture’s problems, and I think we need to just give it a rest and put our energies into things that really matter.

People must try to be understanding. Being a My Little Pony trapped in a human body is torture for those who have this orientation.
They are born with this condition.
It was much worse when they lived in this state, and “My Little Pony” wasn’t even invented yet, so they didn’t even understand WHAT they were feeling!

This article was probably the “entrance fee” to becoming part of a “secret society club.” Many such clubs test their applicants by having them do or support something opposite of their belief or accepted norm.......Or maybe this writer is just a fruit cake and really thinks bronies are normal. Who knows anymore these days.

My daughter outgrew her interest in My Little Pony before her teens, it’s not normal for anyone to be fixated on a children’s cartoon character. It’s really creepy.

My 16-year-old stepson, who is 6’2”, 240, and plays varsity tackle, told me the other day that he was a Brony.
I told him he was not.

Every time I read about this Brony subculture, I think of the Monty Python skit where grown men dressed up and acted like mice. Hey, I feel like having some cheese right now.

The Brony phenomenon is only one segment of a larger disturbance. Google “cosplay”.

The whole Brony thing seems innocent... yet it creeps me out somehow.

To each their own.
That aside. Damn. I'm getting old. Since I don't have daughters, the only "ponies" you'll sometimes see around these parts is the occasional actual horse riding in front of the house.
