Russia Delivers Blow To Petrodollar In Historic $20 Billion Iran Oil Deal

Russia signed a historic $20 billion oil deal with Iran to bypass both western sanctions and the dollar based western monetary system yesterday.

President Putin Admire Gold Bar (London Gold Delivery Bar)

Currency wars are set to escalate as the petro dollar’s decline continues.

Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak and his Iranian counterpart Bijan Zanganeh signed a five-year memorandum of understanding in Moscow, which included cooperation in the oil sector.

“Based on Iran’s proposal, we will participate in arranging shipments of crude oil, including to the Russian market,” Novak was quoted as saying.

The five year accord will see Russia help Iran “organise oil sales” as well as “cooperate in the oil-gas industry, construction of power plants, grids, supply of machinery, consumer goods and agriculture products”, according to a statement by the Energy Ministry in Moscow.

The deal could see Russia buying 500,000 barrels of Iranian oil a day, the Moscow-based Kommersant newspaper has previously reported. Under the proposed deal Russia would buy up to 500,000 barrels a day or a third of Iranian oil exports in exchange for Russian equipment and goods.

The Russian government withdrew the statement regarding the deal last night, but said it would issue a new statement today.

In January, Russia said that they were negotiating an oil-for-goods swap worth $1.5 billion a month that would enable Iran to lift oil exports substantially to Russia, undermining Western sanctions.

Yesterday, the Russian President told regional leaders that “the political tools of economic pressure are unacceptable and run counter to all norms and rules.” He said in response to western sanctions he had given orders to boost domestic manufacturers at the expense of non-Russian ones.

Keep oil at under $100 a barrel internationally and see how much Iranian oil Russia buys... See what happens to the Russian economy for that matter...

The Russians will defeat ISIS.

Putin is in like Flynn, where Obama dared not tread.

And UNLIKE “O” ... you can bet your sweet a%$ that Vlad will not be shy about protecting his interests no matter what!

Their ‘equipment and goods’ will be guarded like Fort Knox... Vlad won’t let HIS personnel be run off by anyone under any circumstances.

Look for Russian regulars to guard THEIR interests.

but not if Ali-bama continues to get in the way..>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Obama can’t get in the way. There is only 1 US carrier group in the Persian Gulf (The Bush Carrier Group) and an empty US air base in Kuwait with a skeleton crew.

The Russians are waltzing right on into Iraq.

Obama has made sure that the USA does not have the resources for Obama to get in the way. The US military has shrunk and we have no viability in the area.In fact we could do nothing to help Israel, if we had to either. And we certainly have no resources to lead NATO against Russia.

Obama has assured the decline of US influence world wide. Next, watch what happens in the Western Pacific. The Japanese are very, very angry at Obama.

The Russians and Chinese are having a field day without US influence. Our allies have been abandoned wholesale.

But we have new allies in Africa. That’ll do. /S

Yesterday, the Russian President told regional leaders that “the political tools of economic pressure are unacceptable and run counter to all norms and rules.”

This from the guy who uses threats of cutting off the flow of natural gas to Western Europe to keep the NATO countries from interfering in his conquest of Ukraine.

"Keep oil at under $100 a barrel internationally"

And, how do you propose to do that? I have some ideas:

1. Build the Keystone pipeline

2. Drill everywhere.

Obama is not on board with these policies.

Obama= Communist

Obama will not stop Russia. Remember the ‘more flexibility comment. Two years (at least) so he is phoning it in and not interested. He has demoralized the military and Americans. He is more in tune with the Putins and Muslim Brotherhoods of the world than anything America has stood for.

Bottom line for us....We are in very big trouble.

You mention China. Makes me wonder if Being will take advantage of American weakness to take back Taiwan. By force if necessary.

Then there are all those islands in the South China Sea...

There is no question that they will. A large sect of Buddhist Monks who moved from the main land of China to Taiwan in 1947 with Chang Kai Shek are moving out of Taiwan, bringing the whole lineage organization with them and buying thousands of acres of farm land in PEI Canada. They are getting ready for the Communist occupation of Taiwan.

When you see that kind of exodus, you know that Taiwan soon will be under the control of Communist China.

See the story here:

...”But we have new allies in Africa. That’ll do. /S”....

Well he did say..”It’s our time”...when he ran..I think he meant that in more ways than we’d imagined.

I agree our military is limited...and likely why he’s only doing “political strikes” in Iraq currently. Enough to say he “helped”.

The whole area is such a powder keg...and IMO that’s just fine with the majority Muslim population who are supporting ISIS by refusing to fight them themselves. Most have no intentions of going up against ISIS as they prove time and again by yielding or cutting and running.

I honestly believe this administration has no problem with ISIS taking over and believes once they’ve established governance they can work with them. I say this because ISIS can keep Muslims in line regardless of how brutal they handle them. Saddam did as well even though he was brutal himself.

How I see the ME has changed as I no longer believe they really want to be free of their dictators, some have even stated they’d prefer living under ISIS over that of the current Government as it operates. So let them have at it!
