....Scott leads 45 percent to 43 percent while 8 percent support other candidates and 4 percent remain undecided. In the last Survey USA/WFLA poll, Crist led 46 percent to 40 percent.
The poll of 576 likely voters was taken from July 31-Aug. 4 ..

Still, this is at least the second poll showing Scott with a lead. (CBS/NY SLIMES also had Rick with a lead.)
Teeny number polled, but I hold on to the same thread of hope too. Crist is cartoon fodder, which speaks quite a lot about his honor-is-dead Florida supporters.
There is no way Charlie Crist beats Rick Scott.
When Crist came out of the blocks, virtually unknown as a democrat but with name recognition as a republican, he had a substantial lead over Scott who bluntly put is not very popular. However, just like the circus monkey as he climbs the main tent poll, the more people saw and heard about him, the more they saw his ass.
Crist is like a remora.

Voters are not really excited about Scott, but Charlie Crist is totally disgusting On an easier to understand level, it would be like having to choose between John McCain and Charles Manson
Crist is the "Ain't No Way!" candidate, but Scott doesn't make anyone feel all tingly,even though he has turned out be be a pretty good guv.
