On Fox Business Wednesday, former ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton declared that under the presidents ineffective leadership, the worlds descending into chaos and if America continues to pull back internationally, "you're going to have anarchy increasing."
Speaking with host Stuart Varney, Bolton first discussed Vladimir Putins hostile strategy in Ukraine and Europe, including increasing the number of Russian troops at the border and conducting cyber-warfare against several European countriesaggressive tactics to which Bolton saw no end in sight.
Varney then transitioned to the recent WSJ/NBC poll that presents damning numbers about the American peoples opinion of President Obamas leadershipparticularly in foreign policy, with a dismal 36% approval.
Bolton: Yeah, Id like to know who those 36% are because the worlds descending into chaos. And I think this poll and the drop in approval numbers overall, gives the lie to the conventional political wisdom that Americans dont care about foreign policy, that its too remote from their lives.
I think the American people are much more sensible and practical than their political leaders, and they see that because our economy here at home depends on a global economy that instability in Europe can have a profound effect
Varney then asked Bolton if he agreed that the problem was that the president had withdrawn from the game:
Bolton: I think thats a large measure of it. Look, what minimal international order and stability theres been since World War II has been because of American strength, the projection of our power, our system of alliances around the world. International trade, finance, travel, you name it, didnt get there by accident. And if the United States pulls back, youre going to have anarchy increasing. You can see that in the Middle East today, but signs of it exist everywhere.

Sorry John, that's no lie. Most Americans could care less about foreign policy and couldn't find a foreign country on a map even if you put them on the right continent. Moreover, its unlikely that many of them could even find their own state on a map of the U.S.
Foreign policy is only an issue when the MSM is whipping up hysteria.
A comparison of the media treatment of Abu Ghraib / Gitmo (nobody killed either place) vs. Benghazi is illustrative.
Do you always have contempt for Americans or is this just a position you’re new to?
So, in other words, things are proceeding as intended.
Americans elected this POS to a second term. For this we deserve much worse than just mere contempt
Yup, Obama’s pledge to “Fundamentally transform the United States of America” has been very successful so far, thanks to the loyal help of Speaker “Blank Check” Boehner!
And the Bolton editorial spells out just what we are getting and what we so richly deserve
That's the plan, Captain Obvious....
Its apathy, weakness and ignorance I have contempt for.
Obama’s two terms and a congress that’s can’t shoot straight are Exhibits A & B, respectfully.
About five years ago, a kid at my work, he was about 20, asked me if Wyoming was a state.
not kidding
If you want to really get alarmed about the state of the country, check out a few of Mark Dice’s videos. He interviews the “man on the street”. The level of ignorance is absolutely astounding.

I’m completely torn whether this admin should stick its nose further into foreign affairs or stay out. I think “America” needs to be involved internationally, not necessarily going to war as often as Juan McCain would have us do, but on the other hand, this admin (distinct from America) seems to have the uncanny knack of destroying everything it touches.
