by pro-Russian rebels in eastern Ukraine

Ukrainian media have published images they claim shows wreckage from the downed Malaysian aircraft is being used as part of a roadblock leading into the breakaway Donetsk region.

The photographs, taken by Ukrainian journalists, purport to show part of the aircraft's fuselage being used to strengthen a roadblock near the village of Rassypnoye.

Journalist Boris Mihalov, 32, said: 'We wanted to take more pictures and question those about how the wreckage was being used in this way but we were basically ambushed and carted away.

'They wanted to take the camera's memory card but we gave them an empty one and hid the one with the photograph where they didn't see it.'

Local media say it shows the 'little respect' rebels have for the dead...

Atleast 100 searchers have been there on the site for about a week now looking for as many as 80 bodies and I have only seen news reports of only one coffin flown to Amsterdam.

Where are all the bodies???

I imagine that any body potentially carrying evidence of the missile’s origin were hidden....ie any body with shrapnel holes in it from the missile.

of course we get this from the UK. no US news station is even mentioning the shootdown anymore. nothing new move on. can’t interfere with bo and mo’s next vacation. it’s 0744 mst and the news is already depressing enough for the rest of the week.

The Russian rebels assured the Dutch that there were 298 bodies on the train that they sent back to Kharkiv over a week ago, but the Dutch only found the remains of 227 on the train.

So they were going back to find the other 71 which they later claimed to be 80.

Since that time there has been only 1 coffin returned to Amsterdam.

Did the rebels cremate the others or bury them in a mass grave???

If they had MH470 on the pile, that would be news.

This is not a good sign:

Foreign investigators at the eastern Ukraine crash site of downed flight MH17 are enlisting the help of local villagers in finding victims’ remains and possessions, the Dutch justice ministry said on Wednesday (Aug 6).
