I hate it when that happens. You’re standing there minding your own business when a clerk says, “Here! Take this or else!” and forces a bunch of money on you. I mean, what are you supposed to do, be discourteous and say no?
Mismanagement. A cashier should NEVER have $1,600 in a till—it’s supposed to be dropped into the safe. Which suggests that the cashier may have been in cahoots.
