Why Col. Strelkov May Have Trouble Recruiting Russians (Abduction, Torture, Murder)

Why Col. Strelkov May Have Trouble Recruiting Russians 06:13 (GMT)

Andrei Morozov (nick-name "Murza"), is an ultranationalist activist from Moscow who heads a small Russian neo-Stalinist nationalist group called "Red Blitzkrieg," among the groups supporting the pro-Russian separatists in southeastern Ukraine as we reported.

Morozov travelled to the region and tried to join the "Donetsk People's Republic," but was arrested and tortured by the "militia" for his trouble. Ultimately he was released, and wrote an account on 21 May of his ordeal.

Snip

On the night of 12th May, without any commentary, I was taken to the dead end of the corridor behind an armory, where there was a room for interrogations. They searched all my clothing unsuccessfully for any 'inserts," then nevertheless forced me to change into camouflage pants and a telnyashka from the militia stock.

After this, they chained me in handcuffs to the window bars, leaning me against the wall. They had only one question for me: 'Who came along with you?' Naturally I replied that I was alone. They didn't ask me any more questions. Since threats and simple beatings didn't give them any results -- I wasn't a spy and had nothing to confess -- they decided to torture me in the following manner.

They put something like a pillow case over my head and wrapped it with tape, then taped and roped me, handcuffed, by my wrists and the knee of my left leg to the bars, so that I was placed on the wall at an angle, so that my joints were turned out at the most uncomfortable position possible, and the whole weight of my body fell on my wrists and knee. They tied my right leg for that purpose to the knee of my left leg in such a way that I couldn't put my weight on anything normally.

For some time I had to stay like that, then my strength gave way and I simply hung by my wrists and knee. I asked them to give me the opportunity to speak to the command. In reply, they told me I'd "be in a coffin in white slippers" before that would happen. I began to get delirious from the pain in my wrists, then lost consciousness.

Snip...

That night, in the administration building in Antratsit, they tortured a local resident who was also accused of espionage -- I heard his cries. After beating him, he was 'packed into' a wooden trunk, and then they screwed on the lid (they looked around for a screw-driver for a long time), and carried him away. Judging from the following unfavorable commentaries from the 'counter-intelligence agents,' the guy, having decided that they were going to bury him alive, didn't withstand the nervous stress and soiled himself in their favorite torture box.

More at website. The link is a live thread. As they add more interesting (and terrible) things, postings get pushed down, so you may or may not have to scroll to read the rest of this particular story.

In other news, the Russian "separatists" also taped their torture of a Ukrainian soldier and took pictures of his dead body later. You can read about that story, and shudder at the images, here:

This is how in Russia they liberate you.

I seem to remember a Russian Tzar who ordered a son to kill his father for treason. He then executed the son for patricide by having him dunked in boiling water until his skin came off.

Russia may have acquired some new toys but they have not changed.

Separatists fire on Ukraine troops returning from Russia - Kiev

https://sg.news.yahoo.com/separatists-fire-ukraine-troops-returning-russia-kiev-093056019.html

Pro-Russian separatists opened fire on unarmed Ukrainian soldiers on Tuesday as they crossed back into Ukraine from Russia where they had taken shelter from fighting, Kiev defence officials said.

Ukraine acknowledged on Monday that 311 soldiers and border guards had been forced by fighting with separatists to cross into Russia. It said they had destroyed their weapons before crossing the border, but the rebels said they had left them behind, enabling separatists to seize them.

“Today at about 6 a.m. (separatist) fighters treacherously fired on a column in which there were 195 unarmed Ukrainian troops returning from the Russian Federation,” Andriy Lysenko, a spokesman for the national defence council, told Interfax news agency. He had no immediate word on casualties.

Under the repetitive drone of dumbed down nationalism, Russia under Putin (President for Life) has created a new man imbued with extremely crude and crass nationalism. Putinism is Racism. People who are not Russian are the enemy. It appeals to really stupid people and helps to justify a very cruel outlook and behavior.

Hitler used street thugs in the SA when he was trying to gain power, but got rid of them when they were no longer of us to him....I suspect Putin will do the same to these guys.

I do too. These vile and wicked types are good for one thing. They’re immune to empathy and sympathy; their souls know no remorse. But because they’re so amoral and nihilistic they’re good for evil chores, but they’re a problem when it’s time to settle into routine life. Putin’s got enough of their spirit in him to know their value for crime and political violence, and yet he has enough of the opportunist demagogue’s perspective to see long range. Then, his outlook recognizes that some types are expendable. It’s easy for people like him. In this regard he is much like Obama. People exist to serve them and are of no worry or concern once their immediate use has passed. Unfortunately, some of our FReepers see this with Obama and overlook it in Putin.

“Separatists fire on Ukraine troops returning from Russia”

As I previously stated, the moment they arrive back in the country, they are combatants.

No mention of the 200+ that decided to stay in Russia, and not fight anymore, though.

Which checkpoint did they cross at? There is/was heavy fighting around Marinka today.

The Russian rebels sure do have a propensity for shooting at those who are unarmed -- whether on the ground or flying in passenger planes overhead.

No mention of the 200+ that decided to stay in Russia, and not fight anymore, though.

Half of them stayed there in Russia because they suspected that they would be shot like this with no way to defend themselves if they dared to return.

You must think we are so naive.

“Half of them stayed there in Russia because they suspected that they would be shot like this”

And your evidence for that is?? Sounds like you are just making things up again. I’ll also ask you, yet again, which border post they crossed at.

“You must think we are so naive.”

No, I think you have a barely concealed agenda, that has nothing to do with the truth.

Really —

That coming from Mr 702 Ukrainians surrendered yesterday whose source of truth is tweets from drunken Russian rebels and the Russian media that relies on them.

BTW what happened to that thread — were you finally successful in getting it pulled.

and of course the Russians took their weapons and then sent them back unarmed and defenseless right into a rebel ambush.

Isn't that what happened???

It's not a surprise since these are the same lowlifes who shoot innocent people out of the sky and then loot them.

These Russian thugs are lowlifes -- as are those who defend them.
