It says it is working "as swiftly and safely as possible" to get others off.

Birmingham Airport has confirmed that two chartered flights due to arrive into Manchester have been diverted into Birmingham - one from Palma and one from Malta.
They are on the ground waiting for onward instruction.
We're not aware of any other security changes at the airport at the moment.
