Alexander will probably not get a majority of the votes, but it will not matter. Since Tennessee does not require a runoff if there is no majority, Carr and Flinn together will probably get more votes and Alexander will still return to D.C.
The TN GOPe likes the current system as they always seem to find a second "conservative" to split the primary votes and elect their guy with less than 50%.

Would you be worried about running against Obama’s cousin?
Funny thing is I was at a noon BBQ in Overland Park with Sen Roberts, Sen Moran and Congressman Yoder. Seems that most of the elected Republican’s in KS both State and Federal support the re-election of Senator Roberts.
Saw Campaign Carl Cammeron from Fox news there covering the event.
Would you really vote for an inexperienced Member of the Obama family for your Senator?
