Rubio: The problem (childrens’ invasion) is caused by ambiguities in the 2008 law and Obama’s executive order.
[hmmmm. Unintended consequences because of ‘ambiguities’ in the law. And these IDIOTS want to be trusted with Comprehensive Immigration Reform overhauling? This would turn out like Obamacare — another boondoggle legislation.]
Rubio: we would have to gain peoples’ confidence ...
[Yeah, right! You people in Washington are the ones who keep breaking things — immigration, social security, healthcare, etc. — and then you want US to trust you to fix the problems YOU created? No Sale, Senator!]
"Somebody needs to say, 'Why has daddy not been able to get a job?' " Sessions said in an interview with the Tampa Bay Times where he streamed figures, assertions and unwavering conviction. After nearly 40 minutes standing outside the Senate chamber, he started to walk away then turned back for more, comparing the more than 1,000-page bill to the health care law.
OVER one THOUSAND pages!? Here would be yet another example of "You have to pass it to know what's in it."
Who in their right mind expects a group of generally rich, lazy, almost senile old farts in the Senate to read and comprehend a 1,000 page bill?
Answer: No one. Well, maybe Jeff. That's why he's against it.
But on principle, no one should be submitting bills that total over a hundred pages, let alone 1,000. There's just no way to gauge the unintended consequences of such legislation.
We are SO SCREWED.
This surge of "children" was orchestrated by the WH with the cooperation of the governments of Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Mexico. The WH lawyers are the ones who exploited the law to create the crisis. It is no coincidence that the Dems with the help of the MSM made this the cause of the crisis and since the amendment was signed by Bush, it is another Bush's fault narrative. In sum, the 2008 Wilberforce amendment was used by the WH as the legal loophole to facilitate this crisis.
