Sure, I agree. And by itself means little to some people.

What I actually mean here is not that the truth will enlighten the unenlightened, but rather just as the democrats continuously spout off lies ad nauseum, such as “The Republican War on Women”, that we do so too, but we can do so truthfully.

How about keep reminding people “If you like your health insurance, you can keep your health insurance. Period.” And that’s just one example.

I also think this so-called child refugee cum amnesty thing has got a lot of people worried. They don’t want to seem racist, but they are really opposed to it. We need to push that hard. Use Jeff Sessions talking points, repeatedly.

Talking point after talking point, incidentally based on the truth, repeated over and over until Nov 4th.

I have no problem with telling the truth. However, we have plenty of uninformed voters who are swayed more by emotion than facts. We need to take a more populist approach and go after the jobs issue and the protection of American workers.

In the UK we can see how effective that approach was in achieving a political consensus on limiting immigration. "British jobs for British workers" became a rallying cry that forced the three major parties to change their tune. And now UKIP led by Nigel Farage is threatening to change electoral politics in the UK. Immigration can be a winning issue if used properly. It can reach traditional Dem constituencies.
