That’s essentially what he said. He just said it differently.
However, it would have been nice if they could have been motivated by preventing America from being transformed into a third-world socialist cesspool.
He said they stayed home in a fit of temper tantrum, which is very different, really the opposite, than staying home because you’re not interested.
