I was gonna say, those Chamber of Commerce fat-cats paid good money for those Republican politicians living the good life in Washington and they damn well want their payout.
Getting amnesty passed so the rich bastards can have their cheap labor is what it’s all about (on the R side anyhow) and if any of those store-boughten ninnies think they can welsh out on their side of the deal, well... the fat cats can make things mighty uncomfortable for them.
