CIA director apologizes to Senate leaders

WASHINGTON (AP) — An internal CIA investigation has found that agency officers improperly accessed Senate computers earlier this year in a dispute over interrogation documents, prompting CIA Director John Brennan to abandon his defiant posture in the matter and apologize to Senate intelligence committee leaders.

Brennan has convened an internal accountability board chaired by former Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Indiana, that will examine whether the CIA officers should be disciplined, said his spokesman, Dean Boyd.

The agency officers searched the computers without permission for information gathered in the course of a Senate investigation into the CIA's interrogation techniques. The summary of a classified report on post 9/11 detentions and interrogations that accuses the CIA of misconduct is expected to be made public soon.

The CIA inspector general shared his findings with the Justice Department, which has so far declined to pursue criminal charges against the CIA employees, officials said.

A separation of powers issue that would have gotten a Republican impeached, removed and imprisoned.

But DiFi and the rest of the Senate Collaborators continue to turn the Constitution on it's head, defer to the Executive and smile.

It's a Communist Conspiracy to establish a dictatorship I tell ya.

No, I'm not kidding.

Apologizes my big blue eyes. How about resigning. And taking your "plumbers" with you.

The only difference between G. Gordon Liddy's accomplices and Brennan's is the door.

A break-in is a break-in.

Ask Snowden.

The CIA is so corrupt and the libs have controlled it for a long time.

It’s just like when Clinton appointed CIA director George Tenent told W. Bush that WMDs were a “slam dunk” in Iraq. As soon as we went into Iraq, the media was saying no WMDs. The CIA was no where to be found for comment.

People need to be going to JAIL over this scandal. As far as I am concerned, pretty much what little confidence I had left in our government is gone.

Let’s not forget that Brennan ran the company that “accidentally breached” the passport files of candidates Obama, Clinton, and McCain.

Funny how an accident like that led to him being on team Obama.

Law enforcement in government has become laughable.... They can’t believe that the American public is that stupid?

Liddy has a sense of honor and brass balls. Which is more than one can say for these communist (bullies) thugs.

Like him or not, Liddy is one of life’s genuine tough guys. He’s not a snitch or a sell out. These pussies would sell their mothers to the Arabs to get out of prison a week early if they were prosecuted, as they should be.

The CIA lied, and lied again. Yet you think an apology is all that is necessary? Next time I lie to the government and I apologize, I hope it works. Resign and suffer the consequences of perjury. This administration has no respect for the constitution or the rule of law. If that is the case, why should anyone follow the law?

This parasite regime must be thrown out of office and held accountable; let's start with Holder, Brennan, Koskinen, McCarthy, Lerner, Sibelius, and on to the Feckless Wonder on the hill.

For the record, I’m a fan of Liddy’s. I talked to him several times on his radio show.

Exactly. Except for the apology. I could care less so long as justice is served and he is imprisoned.

Hairy Roid was spouting righteous indignation about it today but that’s all he’s going to do. For Reid to demand Brennan to face charges or even resign would lead to Obama ignoring the democrats and proving himself to be a dictator even in the eyes of the democrat electorate.

As am I.

Loved the Stacked and Packed calendars. Oh, how they must have gotten the liberal panties in a twist.

Love to see them marketed again. Especially now.

The only way to deal with libs is to take it to them.

“Apologies” are cheap. They’re a dime a dozen and don’t mean anything anymore. Everybody’s doing it.
