Why did we overthrow Ghadaffi in the first place/

Here's some conspiracy theory. It makes more sense than the reasons we were given.

1. There's a western oil company drilling in western Egypt (Aztec oil?, not positive about the name) that wanted more control over the oil than Egypt allowed and access to the port of Benghazi without Khaddafi's control and getting profits from it. "Spontaneous Revolutions" to overthrow effective leaders seemed like a good idea. The problem is that those who fought the revolutions for us weren't and aren't about to cede power to the governments we install. That's happening everywhere we trained, financed, and armed forces to overthrow govs.

2. Whenever any leader gets so rich and powerful that these leaders' status threatens the global elite, they're demonized, marginalized and removed from power. Khadaffi had threatened to take his billions out of Italian banks which couldn't afford that and do his oil trading outside the control of globalist-elitist banking channels.

Sometimes conspiracy theory makes more sense than the stuff we're fed about freedom for the people, evil dictators etc.

I got rid of my Tin Foil hat after The Clinton Years. Maybe time to dig it out again.
