I saw that; news of Rommel’s injury/death is in two stories today. Looks like the prisoner bag in Cobra has yielded some useful information.

Interesting how the Germans let the world know right away when von Rundstedt was sacked in the west, and Busch was sacked in the east, but no mention of Rommel or von Manstein for a long time.

Wow, we're all the way to Avranches already. And it looks like they know about Third Army being in Normandy. The 7th Army front has just about completely disintegrated.

Ike and the Brits are getting touchy about comparisons of the two fronts. A few days ago Churchill addressed the issue of disproportionate American casualties.
