Putin apologist? Why would anyone apologize for Putin?
I for one never cared if Russia took over Crimina . It makes no difference to my country or my state, and to be honest I believe it makes little difference to Crimina either.(not that that should matter to us either) Crimea has belonged to Russia far longer than it belonged to the Ukraine.
But the bottom line is, Supporting the Ukraine who has done or offered nothing to us only undercuts the value of the MUTUAL defense alliances we do have.
There is nothing to be gained for theses united States to rise to the Ukraine’s defense. We only risk economic relations with Russia which is important, and as i mentioned before undercut the value of alliances.(why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?)
I am entirely against involvement of any kind for that reason. Am I apologizing for Putin? No I honestly don’t think Putin has anything to apologize to us or Europe.
