Yes, the magnitude of violation of diplomatic protocol can’t be understated here.
This is probably the biggest FU that anyone has delivered to Obama. Ever. Even Joe Wilson with his “You lie!” during the SOTU.
It shows that the Israelis have completely written him off and are bold enough to go their own way. Here.
And I bet the WH is now combing through all other past communications with the Israeli leader and government to see what else is out there ready for release.
So the State Department is confirming the conversation is true then because if it were false the State Department would have come out and denied these statements were made, instead they are upset it was leaked..tells you everything you need to know
