This is a question for people much smarter than I am:
If TPTB ever mint an Obama coin, no matter what denomination, what would that do to the Treasury? To America’s finances?
Because I will never use one. If one is given to me in change... hmmm. Garbage, I guess.
I’m not sure what my price is.
The coin would have to be worth a lot for me to bring it to the bank and have it changed into something more palatable.
And before any jokes about, “We’ve established what you are, Madame, we’re just discussing the price,” are said: Well, that’s how I would feel, using an Obama coin.
However, I do have a family and I couldn’t just throw away good, hard-earned money because I can’t stand the person on the face of the coin.
A penny, a nickel, a dime, okay. 25 cents... probably. but once it gets past $10, or $25... I don’t know.
