Why are so-called American citizens working for foreign governments, let lone trying to import Ebola to the US?
I doubt the late Mr. Sawyer was deliberately attempting to import Ebola to the US.
As to why work for a foreign government? It pays pretty damned good, thank you very much. I’ve done work for a few; the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense , the Italian Ministry of Culture and others. It’s not a bad freelancing scheme, all things considered, and you get to travel - and you get paid for it too.
I’m not complaining.
