Public employees who violate their power (Police, IRS, etc) should lose their pensions as almost a first punishment.
If you want the cozy retirement — then play by the rules. It’s as simple as that. Abuse the office, and you’re just a dumb schmuck on social security like the rest of us.

When those entrusted to uphold the law treat the law with contempt, what, pray tell, are the rest of us supposed to do?
Either the punishments for violating the public trust must be severe, or the law will have no meaning for the rest as well.
