It still wasn’t the all out disaster everyone claims it will be. This is going to be a much more difficult issue to laugh off as just about sex and everyone lies about cheating. This is the IRS being turned on private citizens, lying about a cover-up and the border disaster.
I would not count the gains before they happen this fall.
The 2 leaders who lost their positions after the impeachment were — Republicans: Gingrich was forced out as Speaker, and his replacement, Bob Livingston, was forced out due to ‘zipper’ problems.
Clinton’s popularity/approval soared to the point that he has been the most popular former president of the last 50 years.
That may be what the current Dems are hoping would happen if the evil Repubs start Articles Impeachment against Obama. They could combine the Race Card and the Victim Card. Does the GOP have the ‘stones’ to combat and win against that?
