A year after Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) was the face of the Senate's Gang of Eight's immigration reform bill, one of his top immigration aides will help the Chamber of Commerce push amnesty legislation.
According to LegiStorm, "Jon Baselice, who covered immigration issues as Rubio's legislative assistant for the past four years, filed lobbying forms as the Chamber's new director for immigration policy." Baselice reportedly joined Rubio's office in January of 2011 and helped Rubio draft the Senate's immigration bill.
The Chamber of Commerce has been one of the most vocal proponents of comprehensive amnesty legislation, vowing to spend at least $50 million on the billthat would lower the wages of American workersand candidates who back it. Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Tom Donohue has said he hoped that comprehensive amnesty legislation could be passed in the lame-duck session of Congress as the "final act."

Burn them at the stake.
A fitting way to pass a law that will administer the figurative bullet to the brain of our republic.
May the greed bags in congress and at the Chamber of Commerce and their families be among the first to be infected with drug-resistent tuberculosis.
I will never be a member again.
The Chamber of Commerce has declared war on American Citizens by their push for Amnesty and their constant meddling in our elections.
Apparently they believe our government is “Of the Corporations, For the Corporation, and By the Corporations” instead of “Of the people, By the people, and For the People”!
Fock the Chamber of Commies.
I owned my own business for 24 years, and was never a member.
The Chamber of Communists!
Rubio is soooo 2012.
The only goddamned immigration problem we have is that no one in the GOP in DC has the nerve to enforce current laws designed to make the crooks self deport.
The pro illegal alien crowd is nothing more than a bunch of communist fronts allied with big business designed to screw the middle class from both sides.
Hell no, time to fight the communists and the blue bloods in the streets.
Degenerate little twerp Marco Rubio (who never held a real job in his life) and his minions in the RNC want to legalize 11 million criminal aliens and import another 20 million on top of that, further depressing the stagnant wages of the middle class that are being further eroded by higher taxes and the unprecedented grand theft of disposable income if you actually use your medical insurance to go to the Hospital.
All in the name of his ethnicity and his allegiance to the blue bloods and country clubbers who he sees as his ticket to more power.
Sociopaths like Rubio and that degenerate SCUMBAG REINCE PRIEBUS (who should have RESIGNED after losing to the communists) make me want to vomit.
Seek mental help RNC , or join the communist party USA, they have the same position on illegal immigration as you do.
Not surprised.
Can there be anyone who does NOT believe Rubio is a AMNESTY WHORE?
Disgusting!!!!!
Couldn't have asked for a more onomatopoeic name.
Chamber of cronies.
I bet it really chapped their ass that Rep Kerry Bentivolio turned down their award and smacked them for pimping amnesty.
Jon Bedlice. Cool! He should be great for the job.
“Jon Baselice”?.... you cannot make this stuff up...
But Marco says we can trust him!
“Harvey Dent, can we trust him?” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBsdV—kLoQ
I was fooled in to voting for this Rubio butthead.
It will not happen again.
Illegals here already have amnesty. It hasn’t been formally declared. Everyone knows the people old enough to vote will not be stopped at the polls. They already have their gimmes too.
This amnesty bill push is so the COC can kick you to the curb and say it is all legal.
Base Lice: What Rubio thinks of American workers who can’t cut it.
There is a blogger on US Chamber named Bath Hack as well attacking Bentivolio in Michigan.
Kobach and Vitter had Rubio pegged from the start.

He added: Individuals like John McCain are not the leaders of the Republican party. And the news media are so excited that Marco Rubio is pro-amnesty, but they never mention (GOP Sen.) Ted Cruz (of Texas), whos far more qualified and articulate on immigration issues.
