Not sure I agree with that.
The political news for Democrats has been AWFUL for months.
But, in the two most recent polls, Ernst is tied with or behind the Democrat candidate.
It was initially thought that Braley, as a US House member and wealthy lawyer, would be a strong candidate. Joni Ernst was not well known outside her state senate district. We have seen, however, that Braley is a terrible candidate and that Ernst is a strong candidate.
