It looks like this suspension of flights to Tel Aviv is world-wide, extending from Canada (who is a very strong supporter of Israel) to,the USA and Europe and their various countries. Not everyone is suspending, but a large majority are.

Nobody wants to lose a 747 full of passengers, but still I think it’s a bit of an overreaction on the part of the airlines and their governments. I wonder if they would still be doing it if not for the Russians shooting down MH17?
