Working-class whites are no longer a majority of Ohio's eligible voters, a historic shift in a key Midwestern swing state that has political parties pledging more outreach to a broader coalition of demographic groups. Democrats are working to paint themselves as the party of diversity. Their 2014 statewide ticket features three white men, two white women and one black woman, compared with the Republicans' all-but-one-male, all-white line-up. Republicans, meanwhile, are seeking to maintain a hold on older voters while courting a new wave of potential Ohio voters, including suburban women under 40 and young college conservatives.

Sadly, although both have Republican gov and Sec of State, they show an alarming number of voter fraud reports.

Local voting fraud felon Melowese Richardson spends some time in the clink and then gets standing ovations at Dimocrat functions, including Cincinnati City Council members applauding the felon.

Yep, there are simply too many solidly blue states. Conservatives are basically finished on the national stage. This has happened before, as in the FDR years. Republicans staged a comeback in the 50's; but demographics are such that it can never happen again. The country will simply keep getting bluer. We will have to concentrate on local politics from here on out.
