It seems almost too obvious to mention, but presidential candidates need a clear idea of why they want to be president. In the past few days, Democrats have heard that their still-undeclared front runner, Hillary Clinton, needs time to think about the question.
Meanwhile, another undeclared hopeful, Elizabeth Warren, is thrilling liberal audiences with a forceful, point-by-point declaration of the principles that would guide her as president. The contrast is striking.
Clinton is offering Democrats her resume. Warren is offering them a plan.

Conservatives might not like Warren's plan but it sure excites the left wing base.
Here’s what you get with a President Fauxcahontas (please offer your translation as to what it means in terms of policy):
* “We believe that Wall Street needs stronger rules and tougher enforcement, and we’re willing to fight for it”
* “We believe in science, and that means that we have a responsibility to protect this Earth.”
* “We believe that the Internet shouldn’t be rigged to benefit big corporations, and that means real net neutrality.”
* “We believe that no one should work full-time and still live in poverty, and that means raising the minimum wage.”
* to fight for a “livable wage,”
* to fight for relief from student debt,
* to fight to protect Social Security and Medicare,
* to fight for “equal pay for equal work,”
* to fight for gay rights,
* to fight for immigration reform
* to fight to overturn the Hobby Lobby decision and ensure that women “have a right to their bodies.
Clinton, Warren two socialist that goose step to the same tunes. We need a real conservative and not a RINO to run against either one and the Conservative will win.
I’ve seen this plan before.
It was called “The Communist Manifesto”.
And no, it’s not a good idea.
So her plan can be summed up as “more socialism”.
* to fight for immigration reform
I love how liberals fail to realize how intrinsically related these two are. I guess they feel they can simply legislate away the detrimental effects on blue-collar wages that illegal immigration has caused over the decades.
That’s not a plan, that is a liberal wish list.
It’s not intended to pass the test of logical scrutiny. The target audience is incapable of that.
Like it or not Elizabeth Warren is learning to master the BRANDING and MESSAGING technique.
Her plan is to consolidate the left-wing base on the Democratic party.
Once she has the left-wing in her palms, she’ll slowly move to the right to attract the low principled, low information voters.
She’s learning from Obama, but this time, she’ll use GENDER, not race (I don’t think branding herself as an American Indian will work so she’ll dispense with that ).
That’s the way I see it.
If only either could offer a clue.
Translation: Christians have no place in society and will be further marginalized. We will worship the earth and all US citizens will be forced to bow down and pay tithes to climate change.
In other words, “Peace! Land! Bread!”

RE: She made a name for herself in politics by going after “predatory lenders” - i.e. those banks that gave loans to people who bought Warren’s houses.
This is self-contradictory, if her purpose is to sell the houses, why would she go after those banks lending money to those who are going to buy them?
