There definitely is a European or even British view out there that is deeply influenced by anti-Semitism. Some of them even claim that Israel is TRYING to create civilian casualties. The British view goes back to the last days of their mandate, when they left resources for the Arabs as they fled, and fought against Israel by joining Jordanian regiments. My only explanation is that the British hold a grudge. A grudge for the attacks on the King David hotel, ect... and for the fact they left Palestine red faced for their unhumanitarian treatment of Jews trying to immigrate there.
