President Obama has come under fire for his activities the day of the Malaysia jetliner crash, but White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest staunchly defended the President against any backlash resulting from his schedule that day.
ABCs Jon Karl questioned whether the presidents activities should have been cut to deal with the aftermath of the Malaysia jetliner crash. Was it a mistake to have the president continue on his schedule and before making his first statement about this (the downed Malaysia jetliner), going and ordering cheeseburgers at The Charcoal Pit up in Delaware, and continue on what looked like a campaign schedule, including fundraisers in New York? Was that a mistake, in hindsight? Karl asked Earnest.
White House press secretary Josh Earnest responded, It was not If there were a requirement for the president to change his schedule so that he could attend to this urgent priority and fulfill his responsibilities as Commander in Chief, we would have not hesitated to make that change.
He defended the presidents decision to continue with his schedule by saying that the he had called foreign leaders and predicted that the president will likely follow suit this week.

He’s just “joshing” us. He’s Barry’s boy now.
GWB, who loved golf, stopped playing after 9/11 because it was bad optics. He was right. If he’d kept it up the press probably would have harpooned him. But, then again, if the emperor is naked and nobody comments on it, is he really naked?
It WAS a mistake, however, for George W. Bush to finish reading a children's book to a classroom full of children in the moments immediately following his notification that a plane had flown in to one of the world trade center buildings on the morning of 9/11/01. After all, the feelings and mental well-being of our children are FAR less important than democrat fund raising.
John Earnest. You couldn’t think up a better name for someone whose job is to lie everyday. Like something from a Joseph Heller novel.
Unfortunately for Obama’s press secretary Josh Earnest, he must be ALL earnestness all the time with NO joshing allowed.
According to Obama’s and the Left’s political bible, ‘’Rules for Radicals,’’ by Saul Alinsky, successful politicians must constantly ridicule their opponents to try to repel potential voters from taking them seriously.
And, at the same time, Alinskyite politicians must never allow THEMSELVES to be turned into laughing stocks. Unfortunately, Obama has failed miserably in that regard, but the show must go on. So poor Mr. Earnest couldn’t crack even the slightest smile at ABC’s Jon Karl’s reference to his slobby boss’s ‘’going and ordering cheeseburgers at The Charcoal Pit.’’
