A majority of voters are unimpressed with Hillary Clintons performance as secretary of state, according to a new POLITICO poll.
Just 14 percent described her time at State she served four years ending in February 2013 as excellent, while 28 percent defined it as good. Twenty-one percent called it fair, and 32 percent rated her performance poor. Six percent werent sure or declined to answer. The survey of likely voters in states and districts with the most competitive House and Senate races was conducted this month as Clinton traveled around the country to promote her new memoir, Hard Choices, and discuss her time as the nations top diplomat.
Clintons ratings did not vary meaningfully across income levels or age, but there was a clear partisan divide over the likely 2016 presidential candidate. Some 79 percent of Democrats viewed her performance as either good or excellent, while just 12 percent of Republicans saw her that way. Only 5 percent of Democrats thought she did the job fairly or poorly, in contrast to 86 percent of Republicans.
Yet, in a potential warning sign for Clinton, independents gave her lukewarm marks by a nearly 2-to-1 margin: 60 percent viewed her performance as fair or poor, compared with just 33 percent who answered excellent or good.
In a February 2013 Quinnipiac University survey, Clinton had a 61 percent favorable rating and a 34 percent unfavorable rating.

Ask those who rated her as excellent, good, or fair exactly what her accomplishments were as a senator or SoS and you will be met with blank looks of incomprehension.
I always laugh at these Polls.
The only Poll that would have any credibility would ask the easy question favorable / unfavorable question, and then a follow up question asking for detailed information that led to the first response.
In Hillary’s case, it would simply be “what did she accomplish that would illicit your previous answer”?
At that point half the People being Polled would just hang up the phone.
Whomever they nominate can be dealt with later, but this Hillary ghoul needs to get out of our lives forever.
Yes. But all this press about how bad she was as Secretary of State is coming from people in the Elizabeth Warren camp working to push Hillary out. Warren is worse than Hillary and far more liberal (if that's possible).
So then, Hillary is like a vampire, LOL.
To deal with vampires, first, you disable them by casting the shadow of a cross on them. Then, you drive a stake through their hearts.
To deal with a werewolf, you need to shoot it with a silver bullet, if I recall correctly.
In 2008 Hillary ran on “35 years of experience” and being able to manage a crisis when the 3 a.m. phone call comes in.
To look at her actual record, it’s hard to see what great accomplishments she had in those 35 years, and where she successfully managed the crisis when a 3 a.m. phone call came in.
Why should we vote for her? Because we feel sorry for her because of Monica Lewinsky? Because of residual good feelings some have about the Clinton administration? Because it’s time for a girl president?
Would Hillary be considered a serious presidential candidate if she were not married to Bill Clinton???
So I guess killing 4 Americans in Benghazi and supplying weapons to terrorists is consider fair to excellent.
THEN tally the results.
The same question could have been asked regarding Obama in 2008. The herd doesn’t care. They proved it again in 2012.
You got me thinking— Hillary, along with her political instincts, are always Glenn Close in the bath tub scene from Fatal Attraction. %:/

Let's not forget her time spent as 1 of 100 US Senators representing New York. That was unimpressive.
Three things?? Ask them to name ONE.
Time for the witch to trade in her broom for a rocking chair.
Did they mention the missing 5-6 bill? I have a visceral reaction to stories about the Defender of Benghazi. When someone drops a house on her, please ping me.
I’d give Hillary high marks for her performance as Secretary of State. Her job was to implement Obama’s policies. The results were catastrophic. Obviously, she did her job perfectly.
