My favorite is when they cite Republicans for associating with “hate groups.” This, as defined by the SPLC - a group of radical communist scum in their own right - as if that gives an imprimatur of legitimacy. Mark R Levin went off on this tactic last Wednesday on his show.

Erick really gave us a stunning look at a widespread practice of Democrats to gain political power across the country, which is to simply file lawsuits and launch bogus investigations of Republicans - then make sure everyone knows these Republicans are "under investigation" even though the investigations are based on nothing. I guess he didn't notice that this is what they did to Sarah Palin.

The goal is obfuscation.
If they can cloud the issues and confuse people with an unceasing litany of scandals, they believe their corruption will be lost in the ensuing confusion.
