I’m not convinced he’ll leave in 2016, nor that the people voting then will elect a Republican.

I still think it will be Hillary! running in 16. I didn’t think Obama could possibly win in 08 or be reelected in 12, but there ya go. Honestly, I do not have any confidence in the majority of my fellow Americans any longer. They’re idiots leading their own selves to the poor house and their country into a sewery hellhole.

I do understand the fear and especially now since it seems so many federal agencies are arming more and more. Gearing up for something to happen.

I think this paranoia started with Carter. Then, the fear was the presidency was too large for one man and the Democrats floated splitting it up. Democrats feared Reagan would not step down. Baseless other than their projection fears since they didn’t want to relinquish control. But I admit this conspiracy theory seems to have more validity today. OTOH, even if we elect a Republican in 2016, we still have a massive Democrat controlled federal bureaucracy. Either way, Democrats believe they will have more control over citizens. They will, unless we get someone who will dismantle some of this massive federal government that we have today.

And you’re right. We can vote ourselves into slavery but slaves have never voted themselves back to freedom.

I think this is the RAT candidate for 2016 IF Obozo leaves (Warren greeted by 2016 chants at progressive gathering) - she is at least as radical as Obozo and probably equally as hard for the GOP to beat back. I think we have seen the last GOP in the WH, at least in my expected lifetime.

Warren - as a faux Indian - will be just as hard for the GOP to criticize as the first Arab Muslim/Black American pResident.
