IIRC the picture’s site takes place Da Nang during the Tet Offensive; the shootee is NVN and the shooter has found out that the NVN terrorists (not necessarily the dead shootee) have executed his wife and family plus about 5,000 loyal south vietnamese.

The pic was referring to the execution in the street, not the story behind the photo.
I do understand the facts behind it. The officer in this threads case knew his actions
could kill and he followed though. This is no different than bad cops shooting grandmothers
and dogs, they want the thrill of the kill. A right of passage for psychopaths.
