President Barack Obama plans to sign executive orders Monday prohibiting discrimination against gay and transgender workers in the federal government and its contracting agencies, without a new exemption that was requested by some religious organizations.
Obama’s action comes on the heels of the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent ruling in the Hobby Lobby case that allowed some religiously oriented businesses to opt out of the federal health care law’s requirement that contraception coverage be provided to workers at no extra charge. Senior administration officials said Friday that ruling has no impact on non-discrimination policies in federal hiring and contracting.
They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the plans publicly. …

Every victim group and special interest group is now guaranteed extra special protection.
I appears that the only citizens without special protection are white, heterosexual, Christian taxpayers.
Maybe Obama could sign an executive order that would just extend equal protection against discrimination to everyone.
At least that would bring an end to the “Stupid, Incompetent White Guy” TV commercials.

Wow, just a short time ago Obama said he “evolved” on the issue. Obama has gone from the genteel “evolved” statement to hog-wide, all in, can't get enough, every day we must talk about poor persecuted homosexuals, kind of guy.
All this, for the now revered 2.3% of Americans who practice homosexuality. Look up the term prurient, and that describes Obama’s infatuation with everything related to homosexuality.
Does this mean we can’t fire him?
It’s just more equal for others. I guess that’s the new daffy-nition of equal. When will “they” declare themselves a separate race? Just wonderin’.
I wonder how those Catholic churches and that Baptist church group will be able to continue to provide services for those poor unwanted unaccompanied alien children now that they’ll have to hire gays to work in their churches.
He will be passing all kinds of nonsense by “orders” while everyone is fixated on the latest bad news. When we return to earth, we may be horrified at what happened while we were off chasing the latest crisis.
The problems I see with Barry’s new Phone and Pen Bill is that you will have to be an “open gay” homosexual to get the bennies from it. Plain old “closeted” homosexuals are SOL.
Obama’s Executive Orders are always to protect some and screw others
Executive Orders are temporary. Once the president issuing the order leaves office they can be overturned (quietly if necessary) with a stroke of the pen or by simply not renewing it.
Well, you can refuse to hire that person. But you won’t get a federal contract. If you don’t need one, then it’s not an issue.
why is 2% of the population dictating domestic policy? talk about a war on women!
If it was a biblical sin to eat chocolate milkshakes,
employers would be required by the Obama administration to provide chocolate milkshakes to their employees.
There is no other driving motivation for these people.
My question, too. I bet they will take the money and bend their knee to Obama.
