How about a little robot car dressed like Mel Brooks as a bellhop, playing a recording in Arabic, like: Mr. Hamas. Special delivery for Mr. Hamas.

But seriously, if there is a bunch of reinforcing concrete poured at points, they will sometimes need to deliberately emplace demolition charges, which will require that the tunnel be cleared of booby traps and enemy first.

They probably need a suite of tools for different tunnel situations.

Something for rapid clearing for infantry or intel to burst in quick to exploit intel.

A few things for deliberate/definitive clearing and destruction.

A few things for quick destruction with minimal troop exposure.

A few things for quick extensive damage when time is of the essence (e.g. hundred gallon per minute pumps on gas trucks, diverting nearby sewage, fuel tanks or water supply into tunnels).

Tailored air and artillery delivered munitions.

Ground penetrating radars, aerosol markers and sensors for digging activity to map and track tunneling.

Special protective/recovery gear for IDF personnel engaged in delivering flame, frag or explosive weapons into tunnels.

Man-portable machines, small robots or special MHE that can help quickly hauling a ton of munitions into a building, down the stairs or ladder, and a mile up the tunnel.

Well developed and well practiced Tactics, Techniques and Procedures.

Iran likes to dig, they must be persuaded. Being cornered in a hole can be a liability as well.

Wow, a nice little man-portable sprayer/detonator that takes a five gallon fuel can could be in every engineers kit in short order.

Hamas having their comrades buried alive has a certain psyops value - no where left to hide.

From a logistics point of view, there is a certain elegance to having the enemy dig their own graves.

Now if they only be driven into their bunkers first...

God is not picking sides with Israel and really hasn’t since Good Friday 33 A.D. Jesus warned repeatedly of the coming destruction of the Old Covenant structure\Jewish exclusivity and it was done 70 A.D. with Rome sacking Jerusalem. Christian\Evangelical Zionists who back in the 1950’s called Jews Kikes now just love to cheerlead whenever the secular state of Israel engages in yet another “operation” to promote “peace”. The secular state of Israel is doomed just like it was 70 A.D.. The second coming of Jesus will install a new Jerusalem and a new Israel based on real peace and truth. This one is nothing more than a shell of what it was in 1948.

Well I wasn’t going for all the really big stuff-—just what I know the Israelis to actually have. But, yeah 8” was a butt buster and so was 10 and 12. The cruiser Long Beach was the last thing I saw that had a deck full of 8” tho. I actually helped change a set of 16” gun barrels on the Jersey. We had a spare set stored at Pearl and we let her wear them out in Veetnam. And the doofusses who started Gulf War I learned all about how bad the 16” is. Our guys used them to rake the Kuwaiti beach front with them. God himself only knows how many Iraqis are buried there.

God says in His Word, the Bible, that He will NEVER forsake His people. He will chastise them but never forsake them.

Using ground sonar, find the tunnels,

add an aliquot of something flammable,

ignite,

wait for kaboom of stored munitions under Gaza.

The trick/danger with blowing tunnels is less with getting an adequate charge into them than with knowing where they go for sure. It would be embarrassing to the max to blow a tunnel and find out later that part of it went under your own house. Using radar etc requires that one go where the tunnel actually is and in the Israeli case some of that “place”is occupied by hostiles.

Gasoline vapors blown in by a simple fan will do the job just fine but if there is a candle burning while you’re blowing the result is gonna be disappointing.

In my neighborhood we have underground lava tubes and one of the boys learned the hard way some time back. He was trying to plug a leak in his pond and destroyed his neighbors wells. Yeah, that worked out?

The Israelis are using L-track D-9’s and power shovels to trench thru the ‘hood where the tunnels are. Uncovering the existing tunnels and making the ground too loose to tunnel in is a pretty safe, low cost, and long-term effective way to go. Remember that some of this no-mans-land country is mined and the D-9’s can deal with that. I could see turning Gaza into an island.

You won’t hear me complain about harming Hamas’ infrastructure. This time it seems we have a commander with some sense. First thing he’s doing right is encircling, rather than doing a frontal assault. Cut off their supplies, and they can’t wage war. No messy urban occupation, no pretext for MSM to pile on. They will anyway, of course, but he’s already anticipating. Gantz is ok.

Sounds like Christian Zionist biblical cherry picking. The problem with Christianity since the middle ages, poor hermenutics, lack of perspective on the time and culture the OT was written. God frequently spoke of “Israel” but his meaning became broader and broader as the revelation of Jesus Christ became known to mankind. Its antithetical to the message of Jesus and then Paul his apostle to say that any ONE group of people is favored, special or protected by God. The Old Covenant was fulfilled in Jesus Christ. I am sure the Pharisees said the same thing 70 A.D. as Rome was sacking their temple and throwing Jewish bodies into Gehenna . “Hey we are special..you can’t do that”. God loves Israel, America , Luxembourg and Japan equally. You don’t get that, you don’t get the gospel.
