Yes, meth is very similar to adderall. But adderall is prescribed with MOOD STABILIZERS so the patient doesn’t get high from it. (Hence, all the mediots always say that so-and-so was on ADD *and* depression meds, falsely suggesting overmedication.)

well, I don’t know if meth can be detected 4 days after use, I’ve read it’s 24 hours but who knows. But if someone is smoking 4 days before labor, with all that kicking and cramping that would be going on about then, then I’d wager it wasn’t the first time it was smoked. The danger of meth use in pregnancy (besides lack of adequate nutrition or attention to prenatal care) is that amphetamines constrict the blood vessels - creating hypoxia in the fetus. Starving a developing brain of oxygen is not a good thing and so a mother ‘doing’ meth is not a harmless activity.
