Once again, Star Traveller is trolling. He is trying to trap you into accepting the idea of a cease fire with terrorists by mocking the idea that Turkey is trying to negotiate it.
He is insidiously trying to introduce progressive talking points into Free Republic threads.
In case you didn’t notice earlier in the day ... Israel already accepted a cease-fire - with Egypt as the broker, but Hamas refused, so the fighting continues.
You probably have not been following this, but Netanyahu did accept that cease-fire earlier - because, as he said today, it gives Israel much more legitimacy, with the worlds in pursuing Hamas now.
I guess you’re not aware of these circumstances ... :-) ...
