It’s against the catechism to push for this illegal activity. He is trusting the USCCB probably. Which in this issue is headed
Up by the Mexicans, Gomez and Garcia who, when they say Mass may as well say it in latin because tgey can’t be understood

They don’t speak English on a regular basis

Thes men are foreign born and not allowed by law to interfere in politics. Not here. And not where they renounced their citizenship mexico

Notice how this has turned into an anti-Catholic HATE thread?

It always does.

This Pope seems to operate under the fantasy that the world can develop a country.

Every country in the world has developed itself thou a process of economic freedom and stability over hundreds of years.

Central and south American country’s have had billion of dollars and have consistently lost that money in regular coups and unrest.

I know; it’s very odd.

My brother is a bishop (albeit emeritus) and is very upset and told me the same thing.

Reminded me to respect the Papacy and that these stupid statements are not infallible pronouncements.

And maybe parents should be discouraged from abandoning their precious children to coyotes.

If children should be protected - that really does need to start at home.

Has anyone asked the Pope whether it is in the interest of the poor children if this situation only encourages further waves of parental abandonment and child abuse?

True.
He does seem to have a tendency to assume the worst of other people’s motives.

Excellent.

REspect the Papacy and regard these statements for what they are.

I do think he is misinformed by the USCCB, whose stance on this is formed by the Mexican group led by Gomez
