BTW, the title is my own.
Not sure you can believe anything he says about his past or his family’s past. Of course, don’t expect the MSM to do any fact checking.
Whenever I hear about Obama’s youth in Honolulu, several timezones from the nearest American blackness, living with his grandparents and attending the elite Punahou School, I am reminded that he is not authentically black. He’s a freak who chose to be black (and, more important, red) as a vocation!
Companies hire and promote based on a number of factors. Just being an employee longer than anyone else doesn't necessarily qualify a person for a promotion. Maybe the men were promoted because they had a better education. Maybe they had the right attitude and personality for the position.
I worked as a legal secretary for 35 years, 22 of them with the same law firm. I may have had more working experience than the youngsters fresh out of law school, but I would have never expected to become an attorney solely on my work experience. I didn't have their education.
This whole “war on women/income inequality” agenda is a load of cr@p.
Its like this guy:
Do I really look like a guy with a plan? I just do things.
it’s a terrible story, if he were trying to make a point... he diluted it both ways because he wants it both ways... either his grandmother did well despite only having a high school education, or his grandmother did not do well because of inequality... his “kind of passed over,” kills his story either way... how is anyone “kind of” passed over? if either of my sons used this wording when talking with me, i would think he were lying...
A high school education was more the norm back then. Undoubtedly when he was referring to her qualifications he was referring to her on-the-job experience.
It is quite likely that less qualified men were promoted over her back then, since that was the norm at the time as well.
I don’t believe he is diminishing her accomplishments here, he is saying she merited a higher position than she received.
Also, a bank has a million vice presidents.
***(not to mention raising him and enrolling him into an exclusive school after his mother died)***
I don’t disagree with your premise necessarily, but Obama was just two years shy of being elected to the Illinois State Senate when his mother died. She was 52 years old when she died, and she was 18 when she gave birth to Obama. So Grandma didn’t enroll him in an exclusive school after his mother passed; he was already an adult. Basically his mother abandoned him when he was a young boy, and his grandparents raised him in Hawaii. At least this is the story according to the LSM.
It’s funny that Obama would complain about qualified people being passed over to promote unqualified ones. LOL
Obama is a dink. How on earth was he elected president?
