The group that apparently took children in Grand Rapids Michigan entered a contract with the office of refugee resettlement (part of the department of health and human services) in 2012 to take kids from Honduras.
The name is Bethany Christian services but I can’t find that they are connected with any churches and they’re awfully secretive about what they do.
this story is from 2013

>>Last year, the Office of Refugee Resettlement (Health & Human Services) in Washington, D.C., contracted with Bethany through our collaborative relationship with Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services to open a transitional/residential facility to provide shelter for unaccompanied children over the age of 14. The facility, aptly named Bridgeway, provides shelter, educational and social/emotional assessment, elementary education, and ESL services to unaccompanied minors. Bethany is presently the largest unaccompanied refugee minor resettlement agency in the nation and the Office of Refugee Resettlement has announced that they are estimating a 44 percent increase in unaccompanied minors seeking help in 2013.<<
Call them and say you want to contribute time and/or money to their program. They may open up to you then.

I don’t ping the list often enough, so here’s another one.
I wonder - we let loose an army of FR researchers, what else can we find out about Bethany Christian Services?
