Great story. BUT, it should infuriate us all, knowing that a Veteran, who lost limbs in a war is not entitled to a free top drawer wheelchair. IT IS THE PEOPLES MONEY, and I don’t know of anyone who would not want this vet provided with the best. To see a vet riding around in a rickety wheelchair that falls apart makes me sick.

Yep.

We see all that money the government wastes, yet we can't even afford a stupid decent wheelchair for a disabled vet? Pathetic.

I cringe when I see all of the ads on TV for helping the vets. Not that I dont want to help the vets—rather it sickens me that we have to rely on third parties to pick up the slack. If a vet is truly disabled, then there should be no question that they get what they need. They should get treatment, they should get their homes renovated, they should receive compensation for not being 100% fit when they are discharged.

I do not understand why we kiss the stinking, diseased asses of Honduran kids—but we cannot spend that same money on our vets.
