Four months after a New York man was arrested for slipping abortion pills into his girlfriend’s body after sex, causing the death of the couple’s unborn child, another man is being tried for a similar crime.
A Kansas man has killed his girlfriend’s unborn baby by crushing up an abortion causing drug and baking it into a pancake, which he then gave to her to eat. 30-year-old Scott Bollig is being held for trial after two days of preliminary hearings.
Police say that the drug involved is mifepristone. Mifepristone, sometimes referred to as RU-486, is commonly given in abortion clinics to kill developing babies in the first trimester of pregnancy. It is usually used with a second drug, Misoprostol, which induces bleeding.
Bollig’s girlfriend, Naomi Abbott, miscarried on January 31, and doctors found traces of the mifepristone in her blood. When confronted, Bollig admitted to purchasing the drug over the Internet and using it to poison his girlfriend and her unborn baby.
He is being charged with battery and first-degree murder in the death of the child.
Bollig’s arrest was handled by the WaKeeney police force, and the crime took place near there. Had Abbott gotten in her car and driven for a little less than three hours into the city of Wichita, she could have legally obtained the drugs to cause her own abortion.
However, because the baby was killed against her will outside of a medical setting, the charge is first-degree murder. In this case, whether or not a baby is wanted by his mother determines whether the child’s death is murder or a simple medical procedure.

It seems interesting that there are murder charges here.
So then, if the woman wants her baby, then the law treats an event which causes death of her baby as murder or homicide. But if she doesn’t want the baby, then that same unborn baby is not treated by the law as a human being.......
He’s wrong. An approved abortionist should have done it no later than the third trimester. What was he thinking??

Yes but think about it: Women every day get abortions without the consent of the father. It’s interesting to see how prosecutors respond when the roles are reversed.
I’m dumbfounded? If he can be charged for murder for what he did then why not the same for any abortion?
