Oh, my...smeary screen alert...
Last Thursday evening, my neighbor who lives in the apartment behind mine knocked on my door. I’ve lived here 10 years and she has never done that before. When I opened the door, she just stood there with a sad look on her face and I knew that she had had to put her fur baby down. I invited her in and both of us just stood there in the hallway, hugging each other and crying like babies. I felt so bad for her and I knew how she felt because I’ve had to go through the same pain 3 times and it never gets any easier. Even my cat, who hides from everybody, ventured out and sat next to her on the sofa. I think she knew my neighbor was hurting.
