“We” (meaning the U.S.) are only dependent on Saudi oil for ONE reason.

I agree....that is the ONLY reason we’re dependent on Saudi oil.....and also why there’s more upheaval in the ME among those nations...they know their time is running out where they can use their oil as political leverage.
