This “refugee” provision of the law applies only to people who are not citizens of our two border countries, Canada and Mexico, so Mexicans actually cannot enter under it. Neither can Canadians, but I don’t think many of them are trying!

So, the refugee provision of immigration law is being enforced, but virtually every other part of immigration law is being ignored?

Color me skeptical.

Is there a secret method to distinguish Mexicans from other Hispanics?

Do children from Guatemala and Honduras carry verifiable ID’s?

Are the thousands of adults who have no ID being turned back at the border, or housed in special USA detention centers?
