Listening to the panel discuss the invasion of children is exasperating.

Somebody do something, but don’t send them back because that is inhumane. Change the law. [They aren’t enforcing the existing laws, so what good will new laws be?]

The pols and pundits want the appearance of resolution without engaging in physical solutions.

How about this: Stop those trains, etc., on the Mexican side and make it Mexico’s problem to deal with the kids. Mexico would solve the situation in a week — because they don’t want the problem. Currently, they are just playing the conduit and probably getting well paid for it.

Because those in power, both parties, want to continue this. Despite our anger and demand for action, it is exactly what they want and we’re helpless to stop it. The few primaries left and the November elections is where we fight back; in fact, short of grabbing your musket and fighting them, it is still our ONLY way.

I sure hope the “pure” do not sit home and “teach” the RINOs a lesson. A win by one TEA party candidate strengthens any and all TEA party Republicans in Congress, even though Boehner and McConnell keep their seats.

A lose by ANY Republican to a democrat is a lose for us all.

Mexico and Guatemala just signed an agreement to make it easier for them to transit Mexico. It wasn't mentioned. Murdoch is pushing amnesty along with Buffet, Soros, Zuckerberg, Gates, Adelson, and other billionaires. The corporate class owns both parties.

The most frightening thing I heard this morning was from McCaul. He is pushing his bill, HR 1417, which got out of his committee last year. Co-sponsors included Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), Bennie Thompson (D-MS), and Henry Cuellar (D-TX). It is Trojan Horse for amnesty.

"The Heritage Foundation and the Federation of American Immigration Reform (FAIR) are both critical of McCaul's bill. Heritage notes it "calls for misguided border security metrics and potentially opens the door for amnesty."

"FAIR denounced the bill, saying, "It is important to note that, like the Senate amnesty bill, H.R. 1417 does not require that DHS actually obtain situational awareness or operational control of any part of the border. It only requires DHS to submit a plan for doing so."

"As part of its analysis, Heritage warned the bill could become the House's version of the upper chamber's Corker-Hoeven amendment in word and deed. The Senate immigration bill (S.744) was disparaged by conservatives for giving too much power to the DHS Secretary to waive security requirements on the border. FAIR explains how H.R. 1417 "adopts definitions from the Senate amnesty bill that have loopholes" and vague definitions inherently giving "the Secretary of Homeland Security broad discretion."

"H.R. 1417 adopts the Senate immigration bill's version of “effectiveness rate,” defining it as the number of “apprehensions and turn backs” divided by “the number of apprehensions, turn backs, and got aways," FAIR says. The House bill, also adopts the Senate bill's definitions of operational control, situational awareness, and effectiveness rate. The definition of a high traffic are, however, is particularly vague, and therefore can only be defined by the Secretary of Homeland Security, FAIR cautions:

"H.R. 1417 defines “high traffic areas” as sectors of the (land) border “that have the most illicit cross-border activity, informed through situational awareness.” This vague definition indicates that the Secretary of Homeland Security will have the discretion to define and then identify these areas. Again, this discretion may lead to political manipulation of DHS reports to Congress."

I wanted to scream at Hume. Put enough agents with guns down there so that illegals can’t get a big toe on American soil. If they can’t plant their feet, then we don’t have to take care of them. Simple as that. Check out what every other country in the world does at their own borders. Stop them at the crossing.
