Today (Friday, 201407-11) Rush Limbaugh featured a newstory about a Democrat (who called a radio talk show) alleging/complaining that the Tea Party REFUSED to stop Obama's 2014 "Illegal Immigration Invasion".

Rush Limbaugh was incredulous that this Democrat was literally so clueless, and indeed, so ignorant of the facts.

Fact: Newt Gingrich was "indeed" the "Last Conservative Standing" in the GOP 2012 Presidential Primary Campaign.

Newt REFUSED to play nice with Karl Rove, da Bushes, Juan McCain and the "bastard" Mitt Romney.

Newt needs to be the voice in the ear implant of some dashing young conservative, with good hair and no baggage.

I agree with you 100% on Newt. He was my 2012 pick.

I would still vote for him.

I think one of his problems is he has a knack for damning photo ops.

Gingrich was the founder of of the GOPe. The Romneys, Christies, and Jeb Bush’s of the world wouldn’t even be here, without Gingrich. He spent the 80’s bashing Reagan, and when he took over as speaker, he overturned Reaganism. He killed social conservatism and gave us the Cochran-type GOP we have today. If anything, the Tea Party represents a strike back against the Gingrized GOP.
