I remember when Fidel Castro emptied the mental asylums and jails and let them float over to Florida, the Marielitos I think they were called during the Carter’s admin. I think. The crime and dependence on welfare went through the roof in Florida and a huge majority had to be confined in detention camps. I would not be surprised to find these new illegal immigrant “children”, 80% of whom are males over the age of 14, are the rejects of society, too, from South America. You don’t learn from history, you repeat it.
I lived in Miami during the Mariel boatlift. What a nightmare! It turned Miami into a total chithole.
I was speaking with a Cuban friend of mine who had helped some of his family come over in the boatlift. He said after about 1 year that they were totally disgusted with them because they would not get a job and had no motivation whatsoever to work. That’s because in a communist society they tell you where to show up for a job and assign you an apartment etc etc. You have no clue how to make decisions for yourself. Remind you of any of the people voting for Obama?
